Therapy Can Help

You might find yourself caught in patterns that feel hard to shift.

I work with adults experiencing difficulties with self-worth, anxiety, low mood and relationship patterns that can feel repetitive or overwhelming. This may include feeling not good enough, struggling with self-doubt, or finding it difficult to feel secure in close relationships.

I also support people who are dealing with the impact of traumatic or distressing experiences, including PTSD. This might involve memories that feel hard to move past, or experiences that still affect how you feel day to day.

I have particular experience supporting young adults and students, alongside working with adults of all ages.

You might recognise some of these experiences

You find yourself overthinking what others think of you

You struggle with self-doubt or feeling “not good enough”

You put other people’s needs before your own, even when it’s difficult for you

You feel anxious or unsure in close relationships

You notice repeated patterns in relationships that leave you feeling hurt or stuck

You find it hard to trust that others will be there for you

You are affected by a traumatic or distressing experience that still feels present

What Therapy Can Offer

Therapy can help you begin to understand where problematic patterns come from, and why they keep showing up in your life.

Over time, you may find yourself

Moving on from traumatic or painful experiences.

Feeling more comfortable in yourself, with less self-doubt and self-criticism.

Waking up feeling more settled and hopeful about where your life is going.

Feeling more relaxed and confident in friendships and social situations.

Building more secure, stable and satisfying close relationships.

Experiencing a stronger sense of emotional closeness with others.

Feeling more able to ask for help and trust that support is available when you need it.

How I work

My approach draws on psychological therapies including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and EMDR, alongside other evidence-based approaches.

This means we don’t just focus on symptoms, but also look at the patterns in your relationships, your sense of self, and how past experiences may still be influencing how you feel and relate to others now.

About working together

Many of the people I see are young adults navigating a period of change, uncertainty or pressure, alongside adults who are struggling with long-standing patterns or the impact of difficult experiences.

Sessions are a space to think together about what is going on for you, make sense of it, and begin to find different ways of coping and relating to yourself and others.
